The Link Between Education And Behavior: Is There One?

Revelation new idea::  combine complaint essay about 'how exactly is education supposed to help with actual behavioral problems?  I see this touted in concerns of black community problems all the time.  this is the most desirable and effective solution.  But when you think about this very profoundly, if you take the time to analyze this idea at its core, it does not really make sense.

This pretty much echoes what I have been saying for years.  Behavior and discipline begin at home.  That is not the school's respon.  It is the respons of the parents.

People Are Not Good At Assessing Themselves

People are not particularly open-minded.  When they encounter an opinion drastically different from their own, even a possibly logical well-thought out opinion, this still does not change their minds.

The vast majority of customer reviews of this book said things like this:  "I was already a big fan of Anne coulter, and this latest book reaffirms my opinions and her opinions which are very similar to my opinions."

There were a number of reviews from customers that disagreed with Anne on most points.  They were all one-star reviews that panned the book up and down.  They all said summarily, "Anne is an ass and this book confirms it."

I did not read a single review that said anything remotely along the lines of, "You know I disagreed with her on many topics before reading this book.  but now she has really opened up my eyes, and I really understand her point of view.  I still might not agree with her, but I now understand where she is coming from."
